'Eat London' was a physical food map of central London, curated by LIFT, who produce interactive cultural experiences which enable people to make meaningful connections on a local, national and international level. Each grid square was made by a marginal community group with food specific to their cultural and ethnic background. The squares were then assembled in Trafalgar Square on Saturday April 27th 2007 to create a food map of London. Then it was eaten! Roads were made of gingerbread, the gherkin from grapes, buildings from cake, Houses of Parliament from cucumber sandwiches, the London Eye from two vertical pizzas. For more photos click
